South Staffordshire Case Study

Reducing leakage at South Staffordshire Water

South Staffordshire Water Plc supplies 330 million litres of water every day across a network of pipes that total 6,000 kilometres (3,700 mi) in length to approximately 500,000 homes and 36,000 business customers. This is a large network and as with all water distribution systems there are areas that raise particular challenges with regard to leakage management. As part of their ongoing proactive plans to tackle leakage in the region they have utilised the latest Primayer technology to find leaks in their problem district metered areas (DMAs).

Find out how the South Staffs team have started making significant inroads into tackling leakage in the region by deploying Primayer’s Enigma3m. This case study demonstrates the effectiveness of the Enigma3m,  a remote correlating logger, at pinpointing leaks.
